One full year of Maggie!

There are so many cliches that are true about this past year.  Such as…I can’t believe how fast she is growing up, I can’t believe how much she has changed my life, and having a baby is the hardest but most rewarding thing I’ve ever done.  I really can’t believe an entire year has passed, time really does fly when you are having fun (last cliche I promise).

All of Maggie’s grandparents came out for her 1st birthday and we spent the day just the seven of us.  The joy on her face was priceless.  It really was a memorable day.   We went to Sweet Tarts on Ventura to have cupcakes and sing Happy Birthday at 4:11pm.   Why 4:11pm?  Because that was the moment the world became a better place one year earlier and my husband went from doing obnoxious jokes, to adorable baby jokes.  The world truly is a better place.

I did learn one thing about November babies…Maggie may never get to have a birthday at a park or a swimming party.  This was something I grew up doing, but she was born in November and I was born in July.  In case you are wondering, I’m already looking into fun indoor play places for next year’s birthday.  Looks like Maggie and I will have to venture out and test each place, because you know girls just want to have fun(I lied I’m on a cliche role).   If you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear them.  No not suggestions on more cliches, play space suggestions.
