Its good to be back from Gotham

Okay, I wasn’t in Gotham, but it really is good to be back from NYC. I’ve never felt this way before, I always leave New York wanting to stay longer, but I definitely hit my max. I was in NYC for 3 weeks, going to weddings, Fashion week, a birthday party and a baby naming. Seriously? I don’t think I could have packed anything else into my schedule. Needless to say, New York wasn’t as relaxing as I had planned, now that I’m back I need a break.

I went to New York planning on getting a bunch of writing done. I wanted to blog about things to do in NY with a baby and interview other moms. I wanted to explore New York and act like a local. AJ and I were going to alternate turns taking care of Maggie, while the other worked, etc. Well after the first week, AJ had to return to LA for work and I was left behind in NYC. At first I was excited, but then reality set in. I now need to take care of Maggie full time again. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy taking care of her, but I was really looking forward to Co parenting with my husband. I was excited to get some of my writing done, but life happens.

I did get to go around New York with Maggie and check out a bunch of fun places, but I was just too exhausted by the end of the day to write about them. So over the next few days, I’ve decided to do a recap of free, fun, eco-friendly and healthy ideas.

But right now, I need to sit with a glass of wine and watch the Biggest Loser. Its my guilty pleasure and I need to get invested in these contestants lives. So let the tears begin and the mind blowing tidbits will have to wait one more day.

Seriously, though doesn’t New York look like Gotham in this pic? I took this picture on a foggy night from the kitchen window in AJ’s parent’s apartment.
